For those of you that are not familiar with the Honda Goldwing (which is the (Cadillac of motorcycles) I will hit the highlights for you. Runs excellent The bike has reverse Raked front end Good tires Aluminum mag wheels I installed the following: Big Drink Holder (Butler) Accessory Arm for GPS and/or other accessories 3 Accessory Switch Module mounted on master cylinder Ring of Fire on the front wheel Front Fender Light Trunk Side Lights Custom Comfort Grips Fog Lights LED Accent Lights Rear Accent LED Lights Front Fender Chrome Mud Guard Front Fender Rail Head Light Gravel Shield Trunk Cargo Rack Side Wind Deflectors 2 Accessory Pocket Caddies on both cowlings Running Boards with Heel & Toe Shifter Highway Boards (not pegs) Stock Road and Cornering lights on bottom cowling Several chrome replacement pieces, and I know I have forgotten something. And now for the stuff you really want to hear about. I will also show a lot of pics and if you need more you can contact me. I will attempt to list as much as I can think of. The SE had just about everything you could get. The tech people said it was a moisture problem on the circuit board until it warmed up. However I am telling you this so you won’t think there is anything wrong with the bike. But this only happened on damp or frosty mornings. One little quirk that the ’96 SE’s had was that the display would not immediately come on when the bike was started until it warmed up a few minutes. Starts every time, does not need anything that I know of. No major repairs and has never been down or been in a vehicle accident. Also it’s nice not to have to put your feet down when you come to a stop. It’s nice to come around a curve and not have to worry about gravel in the roadway. The work was performed by a well established bike conversion company and has been a great ride ever since. The rear looks like a 1937 ford with teardrop tail lights. We looked at all the brands and designs and finally settled on a Motor Trike kit. After a couple of years of great riding my wife and I decided because of our deteriorating knees to convert it to a trike. Two tone with darker green accent panels broken by a thin aqua line around panels. The bike is a 1996 SE which was top of the line in 1996 I am told. Beautiful green Honda Goldwing 1500 SE Trike.
